Bald Mountain
Boasting 3,400 vertical feet and 2,054 skiable acres, "Baldy" has terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.
There are 13 lifts including a new gondola for the 2009-20I0 season and the most extensive snowmaking in North
America. Make your experience on Bald Mountain complete with a meal in one of the magnificent day lodges.
Dollar Mountain
Part of the Sun Valley resort, this friendly mountain is known as "the finest teaching mountain in the world," with
10 gentle runs and an approximate 630 foot vertical rise. "Dollar" is an ideal mountain for beginners with all of
Sun Valley's first-class amenities.
Nordic Skiing
Sun Valley Resort offers 28 km of groomed classic and skate trails. The spectacular new Nordic center is open for lunch
with views of the ski trails. Nearby, Galena Lodge and the Harriman Trail also offer groomed classic and skate trails.

Road Biking
The Wood River Trail system connects the valley from Bellevue to north of Ketchum with 32 miles of paved
trail for summer biking and winter cross-country skiing.
Mountain Biking
Bald Mountain has nearly 28 miles of single track covering over 3,000 vertical feet including lift service to the top the
mountain. Also enjoy extensive mountain biking opportunities in the vast, pristine alpine areas surrounding Sun Valley.
Fly Fishing
Experience the wild of rivers in Idaho at famed spots such as Silver Creek, The BigWood, The Big Lost,

Horseback Adventures

Sun Valley Wine Auction
This 3 day benefit is one of the oldest and most established wine auctions in the country.
Events include vintner dinners, gourmet picnics, wine tastings and a fabulous live auction.
Wagon Days
On Labor Day weekend the cities of Ketchum and Sun Valley host the historic Wagon Days Celebration.
The holiday weekend is packed with a variety of activities, many of which celebrate the valley's mining
history.The Big Hitch Parade is one of the largest non-motorized parades in the West
Trailing of the Sheep
Celebrating the history of sheep ranchingin the area, the festival's highlight is watching 2,000 sheep
move through downtown Ketchum in the fall after leaving their high mountain pastures, all led by dogs,
